I love this rod. i fish kings and sockeye with it. no problems handling large columbia river salmon.
just purchased but know of several people that own them and they hold up well. Looking forward to dropshotIng and just downrigger rods
Running 16-24 oz lead on this rod works well. Has a nice soft tip to make sure 360s are running right and enough backbone to fight a big fish and pull through the lead. Very impressed with these coming from the okuma blue diamonds, which had basically no backbone. Cant wait to get a big one on these rods.
Absolutely love this new salmon rod. I now want to sell my other more expensive rods and get 2 more.
