   Haven’t hooked a fish yet with these, but it handles up to 12 oz lead with no probs. 16s are a little too much but will fish in a pinch. Nice soft tip and great back bone. I bought two 9.5 and two 10.5’ rods. 9.5s will be for trolling 12 oz and under or divers with plugs or eggs. 10.5s for trolling heavy lead primarily.

3. repacement on the way

   Contacted Rob and told him about rod breaking on first use, they sent a replacement top out no problem. Hopefully this one wont break on first fish.
   I have numerous other velocity rods and have been happy with them.
   Great customer service.

4. broke on first sockeye at brewster

   6 oz dropper with flasher, hooked up on sockeye at brewster and tip broke off about 18” down.
   First time out with it first fish
   Not impressed and will be asking for a refund
   Have numerous velocity Kokanee rods and have been happy with them
